About us
A&S is Andy Wiltjer and Scott Dykstra — a two-person home repair and remodeling business working across the Grand Rapids area. We're insured in Michigan, and we're the ones who show up: no subcontractors, no rotating crews, no sales rep who hands you off to someone else.
The work we focus on is flooring, drywall, trim and doors, plus the steady run of smaller jobs that come with owning a house. We take the small ones seriously. A two-hour job is how a customer decides whether to call you about a two-week one.
If a job isn't right for us, we'll say so and point you at someone better. That's cheaper for everyone than finding out halfway through.
The clearest picture of how we work is on the job pages themselves — what usually goes wrong, and what we actually do about it. Start with flooring, which is the specialty, or see everything we take on.
Certificate of insurance on request
We're insured. If you're a landlord or an agent who needs a certificate on file before we start, ask and we'll send it over.

HVAC, work that needs a licensed electrician, and concrete. Those need specialists, and we'd rather tell you now than waste a trip.
Where we work
Wyoming, Grandville, Kentwood, Byron Center, Jenison, Hudsonville, Walker, Cutlerville and Grand Rapids. Just outside? Ask — we often say yes.
